 Mission

We started District 8 Building Officials to provide area Building Officials and Industry professionals educational resources to keep updated on the newest codes and provide an open forum for discussion and collaboration.

What we do

The District 8 Building Officials are a professional organization governed by Chief Building Officials from Fairfield County.  It is the goal of the organization to promote building code awareness. Our organization offers monthly seminars accredited by the Connecticut Office of Education and Data Management to; building officials, local architects, builders, and trade professionals interested in keeping updated on the new building codes and regulations.
